Fresh Prep Kitchens is a "do-it-yourself" meal assembly kitchen. You assemble and package your healthy dinners at our kitchen, then at home cook and serve your meals.

Downtown Santa Cruz Market (Lincoln and Cedar Streets): Wednesdays 2:30-6:30 p.m., year round.

Live Oak Market (East Cliff Drive and 14th Street): Sundays 10 a.m.-2 p.m., May through November.

Santa Cruz Saturday Market (San Lorenzo Park): Saturdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m., May through November.

Westside Santa Cruz Market (Western Drive and Mission Street): Saturdays 9 a.m.-1 p.m., year round.

Aptos CFM (Cabrillo College-6500 Soquel Drive): Saturdays 8 a.m.-12 p.m., year round.

Felton CFM (St. John's Church-Hwy 9): Tuesdays 2:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., May through November.

Watsonville CFM (Peck & Main Streets): Fridays 3-7 p.m., year round.


FARMERS & WINERIES
Mariquita Farm is a small family farm located near Watsonville. The farm is named after the ladybug (mariquita means ladybug in Spanish) because it is a beneficial insect and especially important in organic farming.

Prevedelli Farms grow the finest assortment of apples and pears in Santa Cruz, sun ripened and individually hand picked.

Swanton Berry Farm grows berries (strawberries, strawberries, olallieberries, blackberries, kiwis) and vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, artichokes, peas) in five different locations in the Santa Cruz County: Swanton Ranch (U-pick strawberries), Coastways Ranch, Wilder Ranch, Davenport Field and Laguna Ranch.


FOOD ORGANIZATIONS
The Culinary Alliance of Santa Cruz County, formed in the autumn of 2003, is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing our local food and wine scene.


FOOD SPECIALTIES
Chocolate Visions, based in Scotts Valley and a Slow Food member, wants to make chocolates that are almost too beautiful to eat.

MEAT
Niman Ranch and its family farmers raise livestock traditionally, humanely and sustainably to deliver the finest tasting meat in the world.

Morris Grassfed Beef has been carrying on a California ranching tradition since 1991 on its ranch in San Juan Bautista and other ranches. Formed a limited partnership in 2006 with Everett Sparling, whose family has been ranching in San Benito County since the 19th century.

PL Bar Ranch Grass-Fed Beef: A sirloin steak from a PL BAR grass-fed steer has about one half to one third as much fat as a similar cut from a grain-fed steer.
